I’m diving into the year 2020 absolutely determined to lose as many pounds as I possibly can. After all, I’m not getting any younger and we’ve entered a new decade for crying out loud.
So, the day after New Years Day, I started what seems like the hardest diet of my life. It’s a combination of a few methods put together that has already given me unreal results and so I want to take the opportunity to share it with my fellow “I need to lose a serious amount of weight” peeps.
Here’s the deal:
I combined intermittent fasting with a no carb, no sugar and no dairy diet. Now I know what you’re saying… it’s pure suicide.
Well, determination is the key here for sure because believe it or not, I’m actually not having a hard time. It’s been a week and I’m down 10 LBS already and that is for sure helping with keeping the determination and motivation going. Think about it, 10 lbs in a week? Imagine what I can accomplish in a month!!! There’s light at the end of the tunnel after all friends.
Here’s what I’m doing and it’s super simple.
I’m taking turns with the 16:8 and the 24 hour method of intermittent fast. This is where you fast for 16 hours and then eat all your meals within the 8 hours or where you fast for 24 hours and then eat for the next 24 hours. During my meals, I’m eating mostly vegetables and trying to incorporate my proteins every other day only. Throughout the day, I’m drinking as much water as humanly possible and also drinking warm water with lemon at night. This is helping your sis out so much because the warmth in the lemon water helps you feel full and clean. What an amazing thing. I also made a pot of vegetable soup and a pot of split pea soup for lunch and the meal prep was crucial for my success.
