Last week I went to Las Vegas for 4 days on a girls trip. I had never been before and it was definitely an entry on my bucket list so when the opportunity presented itself, I didn’t hesitate.
Most of us when thinking of Vegas, think about the world famous shows, pool parties, nightclubs and the numerous casinos. Well, it definitely didn’t disappoint. But lets be real, not all of us love the idea of partying it up all night and gambling the entire time you’re in sin city. Sure, I did some light partying and gambling. I saw shows and visited fabulous restaurants as well, but it sure didn’t break the bank. My budget and planning for this trip were essential.
So I’m here to share my trip with you so that you can start considering Vegas for a fun, low key and budget friendly vacation too.
Below are 7 budget friendly things you must try in Vegas!
Las Vegas Monorail
The monorail in Vegas is a Eco friendly train that takes you from one end of the strip to the other. It’s convenient and only $5 per trip. $13 for a 24hour pass and you’re set for the day of site seeing. I thought this was a great way to get around and it’s nice and clean too.
The observation wheel at Linq
More commonly known to the rest of the world as a modern Ferris wheel. It takes 30 minutes to go around, but the views are breathtaking. You’ll get amazing pictures from the top.
Wet Republic Pool party
A great place to relax in the pool while surrounded by beautiful people in tiny suits and listening to your favorite tunes. Now this place can get pricey. A mojito is $18!! But if you’re responsible, you’ll be fine.
Hexx Kitchen + Bar
This was my favorite restaurant on the whole strip. It’s located right across the street from The Bellagio and it’s perfect. It’s a super trendy restaurant with amazing food. Definitely Instagram worthy!
The Bellagio Fountain Show
Think Ocean’s 11 immediately. It’s even more fascinating in person. The music adds a nice touch to the show too and it’s uniqueness makes this a must do. At $0, this is a must.
I got an unreal deal through Expedia for this ride and it was unbelievable to see the strip from up above. For $85 you get the ride and a glass of champagne. Not too shabby.
Aquamassage at Bally’s
For a super budget friendly spa day, head over to Bally’s for this massage. It’s a dry water massage that really feels unreal. I felt so good after it I went back for another one the next day. They have different prices for different sessions, but start with the $20 for 7 minutes. You’ll be amazed!!
Miracle Mile Shoppes
This mall was definitely impressive. I highly recommend taking a walk around and shopping a bit. They have great stores and a lot of affordable little shoppes with great gift items. Also, they have amazing bars and restaurants for a quick bite.
That’s that my friends. I had an amazing time there and I need to go back asap. Check out some pictures below!
